  1. Terry Ryan

I need a hero was also featured in Short Circuit. To me that is the far more motivational flick.

Damn you Terry Ryan! Before I’d even finished reading the post and scrolled to the comments, I’d already gone to youtube so I could post a link:

And it was in Short Circuit *2* my friend.
Avish, drawing from your lesson on incredulity…I’m clearly entitled to be incredulous that you overlooked SC2 in favor of your cute little dancing movie.

  3. All 10 of your selections (from this and the previous post) rock out. I actually get teary when Optimus says, “One shall stand, and one shall fall, Megatron”… followed afterwards by the lyrics “You’re at your best, when the going gets tough, you’ve been put to the test, and it’s never enough.” Sheer awesomeness!

Hey, Avish, more cool trivia about the Flashdance “What a Feeling”. Irene Cara was driving to the recording studio to record a different song from the Flashdance movie, and wrote the entire song (lyrics and music) to “What a Feeling”, while in the car. That’s right, while driving to record a different song for the movie, she wrote one of the most iconic pieces in the 80′s… in a 45 minute car ride.

Which just goes to show you, when the creative flow starts, flow with it, don’t second guess it, just get it down and recorded! :)

  4. Greetings from California! I’m bored at work so I decided to browse your website on my iphone during lunch break. I enjoy the information you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m shocked at how fast your blog loaded on my phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, awesome site!
